Making a Difference through Organized Dentistry

The San Antonio District Dental Society was established in 1913, and it currently welcomes members from Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Edwards, Frio, Kendall, Kinney, Maverick, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson, and Zavala Counties.

The American Dental Association (ADA), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS) all share a common goal of advancing the field of dentistry, educating the public on oral health issues, and supporting dental professionals. This support includes providing information and protection, which has been instrumental in shaping the dental community.

Access to information is vital to the practice of dentistry. Organized dentistry offers a wealth of resources, from cutting-edge research on new techniques and materials to the latest Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.

Organized dentistry has also been a strong advocate for the dental profession, successfully defending dentists' rights against unjust legislation and insurance company policies.

These achievements have had a significant impact on the dental profession, and we believe that we can accomplish even more with your support. Your involvement can truly make a difference.

If you're a dentist in the San Antonio area, we invite you to apply for tripartite membership to the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society. Join us today by clicking here to apply for membership.
