Dr. Ernie Luce:
Dr. Ernie Luce completed dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch, Houston in 1985. Following dental school, he completed a one-year general practice residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After residency, he remained in the Department of General Dentistry as a full or part-time faculty member. His current duties in the department include teaching moderate parenteral sedation, management of medical emergencies in the dental office and management of the medically compromised patient. Outside of the school, he maintains a part-time practice devoted to providing sedation to patients of generalists and specialists. For fun, he enjoys water skiing, catamaran sailing and flying a homebuilt ultralight aircraft.
